Our philosophy at Biznetix is to seek for our clients the best value available. Every one of our sites developed within the last six years has had an underlying database application.  Most often we have found that the Microsoft family of database platforms is a cost effective solution that does not sacrifice performance.

For years Microsoft has been touted as the lowest total cost of ownership solution.  Simply put, when comparing the cost of all costs, direct and indirect, for ownership and maintenance, Microsoft database driven sites are more economical. While open source database applications are growing in popularity and robustness, we know that open source does not equate to free. Additional overhead, arbitrary upgrade paths and higher cost techical support often erode the value of so-called free appliations to the point that even with no initial cost, they do not represent the best long term value.
